很多人认为雨花石就是砾石状的玛瑙或石英岩，实际上这个观点是不全面的。诚然，很多条带明显的雨花石确属石英质，但从奇石鉴赏的角度看，南京产的砾石状观赏石都可以列入雨花石的范围。它们也包括长石、绿泥石、黝廉石和花岗岩类。 |
