| 史密森机构有16座博物館、美術館和國家動物園時，是全世界最大的博物館系統。 史密森尼總共收藏逾1.42億件世界各个国家藝術品和標本，史密森尼系統中有九座博物館和美術館位於國家廣場﹙the National Mall﹚兩側，在華盛頓紀念碑和國會山莊之間。 一座三層的地下建築內設有兩座博物館和S. 狄龍˙利波雷中心﹙ S. | 实在漂亮！ 楚国的那个鹿角形器很有味道。 某种意义上说，文物是“人类”文化遗产，所以价值不一定局限于某国。有时候国外收藏未必不是件好事，很多中国文物就是由于身在海外，才躲过了战乱和文革的破坏，也避免因为国内某些恶劣的收藏条件而损坏。况且，就目前的信息传播状况，交流研究大有可能。 人失之，人得之。不必拘泥于过分狭隘的民族主义，更用不着像有的故事情节里说的“宁可打碎了也不让给洋人”。 |
